Ward 1 resident Ronald Courts began his term as an Airport Commissioner in 2013 and is currently serving as the Chair for 2017. Retired veteran after more than 34 years of military service in the United States Navy and California Air National Guard, Commissioner Courts is now an active community volunteer with various local organizations, such as theNorthside Improvement Association (NIA) and the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) at the University of California, Riverside.

Commissioner Court’s education background includes the study of Electronics Engineering at Cal Poly Pomona, an Associate of Science in Aviation Maintenance, Industrial Hygiene, and Safety from the Community College of the Air Force and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. With an extensive aviation background of 40 years, Courts finds serving on the Airport Commission a “perfect fit” for someone who spent childhood summer vacations watching his father build airport runways throughout the United States.
Do to high winds over the last month the hangar painting project schedule has been pushed back. Many apologizes for any inconvenience the weather has created in delaying the project. Painting will resume January 8.

The City of Riverside Airport Commission is currently recruiting candidates to fill positions in March 2018.
The Airport Commission consists of nine members who act in an advisory capacity to the Mayor and City Council in all matters pertaining to administration, operation, development, improvement and maintenance of the Airport. The Airport Commission meets at 3 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month in the Airport Terminal Building Conference Room.

Incorrect information may impact your taxes. Contact the Airport Administration Office to confirm or update records no later than January 12.
Once information is submitted any corrections or fees associated with the property must be resolved by the tenant.
